Santa Fe, NM: On August 24, 2016, ACT released test summary data for Santa Fe Public School (SFPS) graduates. The information SFPS received reflects the achievement of our graduates on the ACT over a five year period.
Since 2012, Santa Fe Public Schools increased the number of graduates participating in the ACT. A total of 331 SFPS graduates from the class of 2012 took the ACT test. This number has increased significantly to 406 SFPS graduates for the class of 2016. According to Theresa Baca, Chief of Staff for Santa Fe Public Schools, “The District has made a concerted effort to prepare all students for success on the ACT test, and while the number of students across the state taking the ACT test has decreased, the number of Santa Fe Public School students has increased.”
Dr. Veronica C. Garcia, interim superintendent of Santa Fe Public Schools, stated, “We are proud of our 2016 graduates, and our District will continue to promote high expectations for all students at all schools.”
