SFPS Announces New Leadership at Aspen Community School

 

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO – Today, Santa Fe Public Schools announces new leadership assignments at Aspen Community School. Will Wade, Associate Superintendent of School Support, Innovation, and Athletics will serve as principal until December 16, 2016. Beginning January 1, 2016, Gary DeSanctis will serve as the interim principal and Christopher De Jesus will serve as the interim assistant principal through the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year.

Dr. Veronica C. Garcia, Superintendent of Schools, stated, “Mr. DeSanctis and Mr. De Jesus come with tremendous experience working as educators. This new leadership team will work with our teachers to continue to provide a high-quality education to our students.” The district will host an open house for families to meet the new administrators on January 4, 2017 at 5:30 PM at Aspen Community School.
