Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
It is the policy of Santa Fe Public Schools to guarantee that qualified individuals with disabilities have the same opportunities and are not discriminated against in regard to job application procedures, hiring, advancement, discharge, compensation, job training, or other terms, conditions, or privileges of employment. The District will provide reasonable accommodation(s) to a qualified individual, when necessary, to enable the individual to perform the essential functions of the position or during the application process, if the accommodation does not impose an undue hardship on the operation of the District’s business.
Employees requesting a reasonable accommodation should fill out a Request for Accommodation of Disability form and return to the Office of Human Resources. Please note the District may require additional medical information in order to determine if an employee or applicant has an impairment that substantially limits a major life activity.
