Santa Fe Public Schools has their 2017 STEM Expo on Thursday, February 2nd at the Santa Fe Community College's main building, 6401 Richards Avenue.  The Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) Expo is split into two events.  In the morning, the students’ projects are judged by interviewing with the Santa Fe Alliance for Science volunteers/judges.  This takes place from 9:30-12:30 and is closed to the public.  Open to the public is the Community Viewing for Expo that evening from 6:00-7:00. The Awards Ceremony is at 7:00.

Approximately 250 students are participating.  The students are judged by grade level for 4th-8th graders and by content categories for 9th-12th.  Trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, as well as an Honorable Mention and the Judges Choice award for each category. We encourage families to join us in celebrating the inquiry based STEM projects our students are presenting, preparing them for jobs of the future.
