Free and Reduced Price Meals News

If you have a student attending any of the schools listed below, there is no need to complete an application as all students attending these schools receive free meals without an application:

  • Aspen
  • Capital High
  • Cesar Chavez
  • Early College Opportunities
  • El Camino Real
  • Kearny
  • Nava
  • Nina Otero
  • Nye
  • Ortiz
  • Ramirez Thomas
  • Salazar
  • Sweeney
  • Tesuque
If you have students that attend any other school not listed above, you will need to complete an application. 

If you have students that attend different schools within the district, and wish to complete an application for free and reduced meals, any student attending one of the above listed schools should be listed as a household member (and not a student).

Free and Reduced Price Meals are available to families who qualify.

New for School Year 20-21: Students qualifying for reduced-price status will not be charged for meals per new state legislation, however, these students are still required to submit a meals application.

Alternatively, complete a paper "Free and Reduced Priced Meal Application Form." The form can be obtained and returned to any school cafeteria. You will be notified by letter of your child's status. Until notification, you must provide your child with a lunch or lunch money.
