Kindergarten Programs

Welcome to the Santa Fe Public Schools Kindergarten Programs!

In Kindergarten, children learn important foundational skills that lay the foundation for their academic success. Kindergarten programs emphasize reading, math, social emotional skills, cognitive development, language development, and building independence.

Kindergarten programs are offered at all SFPS Elementary Schools and follow the elementary bell schedule and calendar.

The 2025-2026 Kindergarten Transfer Lottery is open!

Lottery window for priorities is November 1, 2024 - January 31, 2025.

K-12 parents can submit their interzone requests through January 31st, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. by visiting https://www.sfps.info/page/enrollment

After Care Programs

Santa Fe Public Schools offers multiple after care options, including 21st Century Schools. 21st Century programs serve children needing academic support from low-income families. Families need to commit to their child attending daily Monday through Thursday. Contact your child's principal to learn if your child qualifies.
