The SFPS Fine Art Department is dedicated to providing an exceptional, comprehensive, and culturally responsive program of art and music education to K-12 students in Santa Fe Public Schools. Our mission is to equip children and youth with the skills and knowledge necessary for college, career, and community readiness, fostering active participation, leadership, and lifelong engagement with visual and performing arts in Santa Fe.
Through a standards-based curriculum, Fine Arts education programs in Santa Fe Public Schools give students opportunities to develop the knowledge and understanding required to participate authentically in the arts. We cultivate artistic literacy and nourish creative expression.
